Flights from Belfast to Marrakech

Belfast is Northern Ireland’s only airport with a direct route to Marrakech. One carrier, tight schedule and a flight time close to four hours: for a NI resident, it beats a Dublin or London connection on total door-to-door time in most weeks.
Airline and departure airport
Direct flights leave from Belfast International (BFS), not Belfast City (BHD). One airline runs the direct route:
- easyJet - typically two flights a week in high season, dropping in shoulder seasons.
For a one-stop option, British Airways via Heathrow works, as does Royal Air Maroc via Casablanca. Both usually cost more and take six to seven hours door-to-door.
Flight time
Reckon on 4 hrs 00 to 4 hrs 10 direct. Departures are usually in the morning or early afternoon. Check the schedule as it thins in winter - some weeks show one flight only.
Prices and best time to book
Shoulder-season easyJet returns run £130 to £220. Peaks land at £250-£400 during February half-term, summer school holidays and October half-term, and £300-£450 over Easter and Christmas. Book two to three months ahead for peak windows.

Once you land
Marrakech-Menara Airport is about 5 km (3 miles) south-west of the medina, 15 to 25 minutes by taxi. Bus 19 runs to Jemaa el-Fna for 30 MAD every 30 minutes, the official taxi flat fare is 70-100 MAD (£6-£8) in daytime, and many riads offer a private transfer.
