Flights from Manchester to Marrakech
Manchester runs direct to Marrakech on five airlines, in about 3 hrs 45. Here are the carriers, the flight time, the prices and the right moment to book.

Manchester is the second-best-connected UK city to Marrakech: five airlines on a direct route, a strong low-cost mix and a package option via TUI. From the north-west, it beats London on avoided drive time even if the flight is 15 to 20 minutes longer.
Airlines and departure airport
Direct flights leave from Manchester Airport (MAN), all three terminals depending on carrier. Four airlines run the direct route:
- easyJet - the widest schedule, year-round, from Terminal 1.
- Jet2 - stepped up to three times a week from 31 March 2026, package or flight-only, from Terminal 2.
- Ryanair UK - low-cost strict, from Terminal 3.
- TUI Airways - mostly package holidays, flight-only in low season.
Add Royal Air Maroc via Casablanca for a one-stop option (about six to seven hours door-to-door) - useful in winter when direct frequencies drop, but rarely cheapest.
Flight time
Reckon on 3 hrs 40 to 3 hrs 50 direct, roughly 20 minutes longer than from London to account for the more northerly departure. Departures cluster in the morning and late afternoon, so you can pick between a full first day in Marrakech or an evening arrival with a shorter first night.
Prices and best time to book
In shoulder seasons (autumn and mid-winter), a low-cost return typically runs £80 to £180, with easyJet and Ryanair UK often at the cheaper end. TUI Airways as a package (flight + hotel) sits between £150 and £280 for a mid-range week, hold bag included by default.
Peaks are steeper here than from London because of Jet2 and TUI’s package pricing: £180-£320 low-cost during February half-term, summer school holidays and October half-term, and £250-£400 over Easter and Christmas. Book two to three months ahead for peak windows.

Once you land
Marrakech-Menara Airport is about 5 km (3 miles) south-west of the medina, 15 to 25 minutes by taxi. Bus 19 runs to Jemaa el-Fna for 30 MAD every 30 minutes, the official taxi flat fare is 70-100 MAD (£6-£8) in daytime, and many riads offer a private transfer.
