Flights from Newcastle to Marrakech

Newcastle is Jet2’s north-east base for Marrakech, and gets easyJet as a second carrier from November 2026. From the north-east and Scottish Borders, it beats a Manchester or Edinburgh connection on total time.
Airlines and departure airport
Direct flights leave from Newcastle Airport (NCL). Two airlines run the direct route:
- Jet2 - year-round, package or flight-only, with the fuller Jet2 baggage allowance on standard fares.
- easyJet - joining the route on 3 November 2026, expected to push flight-only prices down.
For a one-stop option, British Airways via Heathrow works but rarely beats direct from Newcastle on total time.
Flight time
Reckon on 4 hrs 05 to 4 hrs 15 direct, about 20 minutes longer than from Manchester. Departures are typically once a day per direction on Jet2 in high season; easyJet frequencies from November 2026 will be worth checking as they mature.
Prices and best time to book
Shoulder-season Jet2 flight-only returns run £120 to £220. Once easyJet enters from November 2026, £90-£180 shoulder-season returns should be reachable, with the two carriers trading depending on the week.
Peaks land at £250-£400 during February half-term, summer school holidays and October half-term, and £300-£450 over Easter and Christmas. Book two to three months ahead for peak windows.

Once you land
Marrakech-Menara Airport is about 5 km (3 miles) south-west of the medina, 15 to 25 minutes by taxi. Bus 19 runs to Jemaa el-Fna for 30 MAD every 30 minutes, the official taxi flat fare is 70-100 MAD (£6-£8) in daytime, and many riads offer a private transfer.
