The platforms bill it as “five-star”, but that is a booking label, not a luxury rating: Dihya is a plain-category riad, no spa, no grand decor, with a dipping basin rather than a lap pool. Wi-Fi is offered in the common areas, and the Dabachi quarter, close to the souks, is lively, which pleases anyone wanting to be in the mix but can be felt on the noise side. These are the normal trade-offs of a riad at this rate, not hidden flaws.

That leaves an obvious point: at the lowest price of its category, in the middle of the medina, with this score on nearly eight hundred stays, the Riad Dihya is hard to fault on what it promises. It promises no spa, no lap pool, no palace decor. For that, you will have to look, and pay, elsewhere.
