Arabic calligraphy: you embroider your name written in Arabic letters, for a truly personal souvenir - the format with the highest ratings. Either way, mint tea, pastries and a few small gifts from the workshop come with the session, and you leave with the finished object the same evening.
Accessible, and no unpleasant surprise
Good news: no firing to wait for or piece to have delivered, unlike pottery. The basket is finished by the time you leave. Finding the workshop
The only small challenge is the address: the Souk Cherifia is a maze, and the workshop tucks into an arcade. The landmark to remember is the La Terrasse des Épices pastry shop - once you are in front of it, you are nearly there. Allow a little time to wander (and get lost a little, that is part of the souk).
