Zipline near Marrakech
The simplest thrills option nearby: four cables above an Atlas canyon, from age 12, beginners welcome - and the cheapest ticket among the aerial activities.
This is the simplest ‘thrills’ option around Marrakech: no dawn wake-up, no perfect weather to wait for, and the cheapest ticket among the aerial activities. You head to the Atlas foothills, at Terres d’Amanar, and let yourself glide.
Four ziplines string above a canyon and a valley, the longest running about 430 metres, sometimes topped with a suspension bridge. Sporty without being technical: a harness, a helmet, a few safety notes, and off you go - from age 12, beginners welcome.
Most trips turn it into a half-day or a full day: hotel transfer, cooperative Berber breakfast, sometimes a hike and lunch. Bring closed shoes, and aim for the morning - the park stops the last departures in mid-afternoon.
