On the Amizmiz road, at the foot of the Atlas and fifteen minutes from the medina, the Eden Andalou is a 5-star resort rebranded under Marriott in 2026: a 20,000 m² water park, 253 suites spread across six riads, a large spa and an all-inclusive package. You book it for a family holiday, not for the character of a medina house.
Our verdict
The Eden Andalou is not a hotel in Marrakech, it is a resort next to Marrakech. You reach it in fifteen minutes on the Amizmiz road, south-west of the city, where the housing tracts give way to olive groves and where the Atlas closes the horizon. The estate picks up Hispano-Moorish codes: six patio riads, crenellated arcades with green tiles, planted courtyards. Rebranded in 2026 under Delta Hotels by Marriott after years under the Eden Andalou Aquapark & Spa name, the place keeps the same purpose: a turnkey stay, built around water and the children.
The core of the resort is its 20,000 m² water park: about twenty slides and pools for all ages, from the big thrill slide to the lazy river, with a space set aside for the youngest. Alongside, an outdoor 35-metre pool with a private beach, and a basin heated in winter. The 253 suites, from 44 to 79 m², are spread across the six riads. Many connect and take up to five people, which settles the matter when travelling in a group. The all-inclusive covers meals - international buffet at the Atlas restaurant, à la carte Moroccan table once per three-night stay - the entertainment and the drinks. The mini-club looks after the 4-10s while parents head to the 1,600 m² spa: nine treatment rooms, hammam, sauna and a heated sensory pool, treatments with ghassoul and argan oil. Travellers back it widely, with 8.6 on Booking on more than 3,600 reviews, and high scores for staff and cleanliness. It is a logic shared by other hotels built around a water park.
That leaves the caveat, which decides everything: you are fifteen minutes by road from the medina. The establishment offsets it with a free shuttle at set times, but you have to work with its departures. For a stay built around the old town and its souks, this is not the best base. It is on the other hand the whole point for the opposite: a settled holiday, where the children spend the day in the water while parents alternate pool and hammam. Value for money is the lowest score travellers leave, which reminds you that you pay first for the resort format and the water park. From around £111 a night depending on the season, this is one of the accessible entries to 5-star all-inclusive around Marrakech, provided you accept the distance.
