Hotel Jadali & Spa

The Hotel Jadali & Spa is a small 5-star in Hivernage with a green facade, halfway between the boutique hotel and the family address. Fifty-two rooms, a spa with hammam, a pool and a roof where you can spot the Koutoubia. Care for children, a warm welcome, a more intimate scale than the great hotels of the quarter, walking distance from the medina.
Our verdict
The Hotel Jadali & Spa stands out first for its size, and that is what makes it interesting. Where Hivernage lines up great hotels with several hundred rooms, this one holds fifty-two, spread across a building whose facade disappears under the greenery. This is closer to a boutique hotel than a chain address: service stays personal, the welcome and the breakfast come out top of the comments, and you do not feel lost in the crowd. The house still holds the 5-star classification, with the facilities that come with it.
The family focus is rarer still at this level, and that is what really sets the house apart. It provides a children’s pool, tailored meals, cinema nights and themed dinners, enough to occupy a tribe without leaving. Add a spa with hammam, sauna and treatments, a tennis court, two restaurants, and up on the roof a terrace where the eye runs to Hivernage, the palm groves and, in the distance, the Koutoubia minaret. You can spend a full day here without missing anything.
You need to place the class right. The 5-star classification covers a solid comfort here rather than showy luxury: rooms are careful but measured in size, and you are in a corner building on avenues, not a palace with a garden. The location, on the other hand, delivers: you reach the medina on foot, while sleeping in a quarter quieter than the souks proper.
The Hotel Jadali & Spa finds its place between two worlds: more intimate than a large 5-star, better equipped than a small riad, and particularly at ease with families. You come here for this balance, not for pomp or for a character decor. For a group stay, comfortable and central without breaking the bank, it is one of the good surprises of Hivernage.
